Ericotaenia Hap Cichlid (Mylochromis ericotaenia)

One of the most colorful Lake Malawi cichlids is the Mylochromis. These African cichlids have a blue and rainbow color with black stripes and grow to eight inches. Due to their size they require a large aquarium and will be peaceful with other African cichlids. The females are slight smaller than the males, growing to just six inches.
