Gymnothorax polyuranodon, commonly known as the freshwater moray, is a species of moray eel that is native to the Indo-Pacific region. It can live in both freshwater and saltwater. They are known as a true freshwater eel, so they don't need any salt at all and can live its entire live in pure freshwater.
