  • Very aggressive and predatory
  • Best with:
    • Large, robust fish only
    • Other monster fish (with caution)
  • Avoid:
    • Anything smaller (will be eaten)
    • Slow or delicate species

Diet

Strict carnivore:

  • Primarily live fish (often required initially)
  • Can sometimes be trained onto frozen/thawed foods
  • Rarely accepts pellets
