Red Cheek Javaen Barb (Systomus orphoides)

Also known as Puntius orphides, this barb is the definition of simplistic beauty.  With a spot of bright orange on the cheek with a red and black scissor tail on a metallic silver body, this fish looks amazing in a group. This fish can group upto 12 inches so it a great for larger tanks  but still not overly big in medium tanks.
